DEPUTIES’ UNION ENDORSES BOB HUBER FOR VENTURA COUNTY SUPERVISOR
VENTURA, March 21, 2018 – The union representing Ventura County’s Deputy Sheriffs and District Attorney Investigators announced today that its board of directors had unanimously voted to endorse Simi Valley Mayor Bob Huber for Supervisor (4th District seat) in the 2018 election. “We believe that Mayor Huber possesses the knowledge, experience and drive to preserve the high quality of life we all enjoy in Ventura County,” said Investigator Scott Peterson, VCDSA President.
"On behalf of our members, we are proud to endorse Bob Huber. Mayor Huber has a long track record of public service, business ownership, and volunteerism in the community that makes him the wise choice for the Board of Supervisors. When elected, so he can continue to promote the values that make Ventura County a great place to live, namely insuring our financial strength and safe communities.”
The Ventura County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association (VCDSA) is the recognized bargaining unit for approximately 775 sworn peace officers in Ventura County. Peterson explained that the Board of Directors of VCDSA was proud to endorse Bob Huber because of his passion for public service and his dedication to the citizens of Ventura County.
